ESI News

ESI is currently working with a number of clients on a wide variety of projects:

  • Serving as the economics sub-consultant to AECOM on the I-11 Intermountain West Tier 1 EIS, with a focus on land use and economic development.
  • Analyzing the fiscal impact that the preferred land use plan would generate for San Tan Valley in Pinal County.
  • Preparing a regional economic development strategic plan for the Verde Valley, which encompass the cities of Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, and Sedona in Arizona.
  • The City of Eloy retained the services of ESI Corp to prepare their first economic development plan, with a focus on job creation, identification of targeted industries, and revitalization of their historic downtown.
  • ESI is a sub consultant to Michael Baker International to update the Town of Gilbert’s general plan. ESI will analyze existing land uses and absorption of multi-family residential, retail, office and industrial space, conduct a market analysis and recommend supportable acres of land use that can be supported through the year 2030.

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) invited Judie to be on a Sustainable Design Assistance Team (SDAT) to assist in the creation of a master plan of Court Avenue in Downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The national Urban Land Institute appointed Judie Scalise to serve on the newly formed Placemaking and Town Centers Product Council.

She is actively engaged in the ULI Arizona and a member of the Arizona Technical Advisory Panel (AzTAP) Committee.
