ESI is currently working with a number of clients on a wide variety of projects:

  • Serving as the economics sub-consultant to AECOM on the I-11 Intermountain West Tier 1 EIS, with a focus on land use and economic development.
  • The City of Sedona has retained ESI Corp to work with staff and community leaders to create an economic diversification strategy plan.
  • ESI is a sub consultant to Coffman & Associates and is working with the City of Flagstaff to conduct a market study on land adjacent to the Flagstaff Airport.
  • Wild Horse Pass Development Authority (WHPDA) retained ESI Corp to prepare a market study for a commercial development.
  • ESI is on retainer with the City of Buckeye to prepare fiscal and economic impact analysis on a broad array of economic development projects.

  • Instructor for the “Economic Development Strategic Planning” course offered at the Advanced Institute for Economic Development, which is sponsored by the California Academy for Economic Development, August 3-7, 2020, Fresno State University. Due to COVID-19, this course will be held virtually.
  • California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED annual conference in Sacramento in September 2-4, 2020
  • Urban Land Institute 2021 Spring Meeting in Denver, May 10-12, 2021.

ESI Principal, Judie Scalise, was appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of Growth Partners Arizona, a CDFI making loans to organizations and small businesses throughout Arizona that traditional lending institutions may not fund.
